You wake up in the morning use the bathroom and return back to bed for a few extra mins of R&R. Before you get settled you reach over, grab your phone from the stand and see what you missed overnight. Sound familiar? Well you're not alone.

Seems like everyone has an agenda and platform to showcase it nowadays. It use to be years ago the only way to be heard was by being part of the popular crowd. If you didn't sit at the cool kids table then your opinion wasn't worth two cents. I get it, it's empowering to voice your opinion and have friends and associates react. You're in the driver's seat and they are lining up to take a ride. Heck we all had that one friend who got their car before anyone else and we could not wait to tag along but what happens when everyone has their own car and no one to ride with? Read on...

Less than a third of posts read are from actual friends or relatives the bulk being from associates never met and shared posts. Top three categories w/o looking at my feed are: President Trump and his latest antics, 'Like or Share' if you believe in this or that and 'See what I'm doing right now'. Day or night one of these will be near the top of your news feed... guaranteed. Let me guess you are checking now. As a whole people seek validation and attention nothing wrong with that it's in our DNA. Not everyone but the masses in general. If your post reaches enough to your satisfaction they will return to your car again. On rare occasions I find myself entranced with a post someone has made repeatedly and yet the same people keep responding the same way, odd. Social media is both entertaining and suggestive, you would do well to know the difference. In a way this article could fall under one of these categories it's all about perspective.
