I'm a Batman fanatic as much as the next gamer but this is unprecedented... a Batman game with no Batman! Well technically it's Gotham Knights so Batman can take a breather, a permanent breather. I can't give you more insight other than what's shown in the trailer. Warner Bros, cough cough, wink wink, no free betas? Lol j/k anyway if you haven't seen the trailer yet, here it is.

The Sega Dreamcast 2 looks promising but I'll reserve my final grade until I've actually played one. It's been decades since the first Dreamcast launched and lets face it any new hardware produced will create a buzz no matter how reliable it is. I'm hoping it doesn't come with those controllers where the memory card doubles as a distraction. You could see your character move around or play it as a stand alone minigame. Trust me I wouldn't wish this memory card from Hades on my worst enemy. Think Pokemon on Gameboy (not the one in color) and you'll have an idea of this 8-bit calamity. Imo they only drained the battery faster. Oh Sega wasn't all bad, it introduced me and my brother to Soul Caliber. I think Kingdom Hearts and Ready 2 Rumble were notables too.

Now that you have a history on the first Dreamcast lets have a look at the 2nd installment which is supposed to drop this year. The video below is where I'm at and now you are as caught up as me. The vid doesn't get into the nuts and bolts of this next gen console which is a shame. They could've threw us a bone or something. Imo it's a thinly veiled release. No games were announced nor the exact launch date. Does it have what it takes to go up against Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft? Time will tell. I really don't know how smart it is given this Pandemic and unemployment rate with ppl clutching every dollar but again time will tell.
