Not even EA anticipated the following this game would have years ago but have capitalized on it nonetheless. Only a handful of events have been released at this appointed hour... Blockbuster movies, Black Friday sales and now Madden! I went to my local GameStop last night and can say I'm getting too old for this stuff lol. Oh props to manager who finally threw out the 4 bums playing the game for an hour w/o buying anything.
Madden has been making wives and girlfriends the side chick for years. In the case of one of our leagues its making a boyfriend the side chick. G4R has featured a female player or two in the past and they can hold their own. These women ask for no favortism and receive none. Hell one even made it as far as our Conference playoff round. For the next couple of months men, and a lady, will be engrossed in this yearly ritual.
Madden has grown beyond the point of mere leagues and lobby games. Guys are making side bets and ponying up big money to prove their skillz. In the past 2 yrs I've met guys who make their living solely on Madden! They earn enough to pay the mortgage and support their family. Still think this is a kid's game?
Alas I have to wrap this up but want to send a Happy Madden Day to all my friends and members. This year we've branded 3 reputable leagues under one umbrella, complete with a 5 man commish staff that oversees all, and look forward to bringing you the best in sports entertainment. G4R will be featuring these lgs on our site over next 12 mos and I'll be working closely with EA to join their development program for upcoming year. I'll include our staff to give valuable input on what fans want to see in future iterations. One of the perks of being in this program is receiving a copy of Madden wks before release. 3 leagues in the click are G4R Madden, True32 Madden and Fantasy Madden 281. We expect number to grow this yr and send us a msg if you want your lg to be featured next year.
Oh we have a community group that is boss run by Commissioner A. Nelson. He dishes out rewards and XPs for each game. Originally started as a project to keep his youth football members in touch during offseason in the Delaware, Virginia, Maryland region it has grown to epic proportions. Group now has over 1k members and still growing. Check his group page out at DMV Redzone. Props we'll be swinging support your way this year, keep up the good work!
