I've worked hard to bring site where its at in our 5yr history and one of the guidelines was 'keep family off pages'. I'm a strong advocate of keeping personal life separate from bizz but every now and then you come across a momentous occasion where you don't mind blurring the lines.
Case in point my sister is turning 50 this Saturday! Though not a big deal in the grand scheme of things it is to me. Most of my success was generated from my parents who encouraged me and my 2 siblings that anything was possible in life. For the times they weren't there my sister filled that role, I must admit I didn't care for it at times but glad now. Like most kids growing up we did a ton of bone-headed things and concocted crazy schemes we thought we could get away with. As we got older and parents weren't always around to check us, my brother and I had my sister to keep us in line. It wasn't until I matured that I truly realized how much she had our backs. If a schoolmate or neighborhood goon was giving us a hard time she was like a pit bull and stood up for us regardless the odds. Hell if that didn't work she could always call on our cousins Stacey and Terry... one went on to be a golden glove boxer, the other a marine. Yeah we were covered lol. I love my fam. Anyway my Brother-in-law has went all out to provide her a lavish 80's themed party. Props Rodney Williams (meh for once I can overlook that you're a Cowboys fan lol). Family and relatives are flying in from across the country and it should be nice. I'm looking forward to donning a Jerri curl wig and MC Hammer parachute pants to help celebrate this event. The stories I could tell about everyone attending is endless so I'll keep it short by posting pics of the occasion. Hey what good is running a site if you can't plug the ones you love every now and then? Love you Nina, Happy 50th Birthday! -James
