It's been a good run and all good things must come to an end, even for Arrow. I binged watched the first 4 or 5 seasons until caught up. Sadly health issues kept me sidelined and I missed a cpl seasons. Now if you're anything like me you hate jumping in the middle of anything let alone a kickass show like Arrow. With that being said I'm staring the final season, season 8 episode 1, head on. What to do, what to do? I could do the 'google' thing but decided to wait like everyone else. "Suit up!"....
Tyler Hoechlin, Brandon Routh and Tom Welling each have donned the red-n-blue for the Arrowverse crossover on CW. Most people know their roles but in case you haven't kept up here we go: Tyler Hoechlin made cameos as the man of steel in seasons 1 and 2 of Supergirl. Brandon Routh had a small part in Arrow as Ray Palmer aka The Atom, later he joined the time travelling DC Legends of Tomorrow. Before that he starred in Superman returns. Tom Welling goes all the way back to Smallville as the teen, Clark Kent, coming of age. All 3 make cameos in the aforementioned Arrowverse. It's kind of neat to see them in alternate costumes. Oh, what conversation would be complete without mentioning our current boy blue... Henry Cavill. Here's a little trivia for you, what movie did Brandon Routh and Henry Cavill audition for? No Googling please. Give up? It's Supeman Flyby. Never before has so many versions of DC's finest been aired at once. A number of cast members on CWs payroll have seen a rebirth of roles. Still the jump from TV to big screen has been an elusive one. So whether you prefer the throwback version of Smallville or the next Cavill/ Justice League installment no two are alike. Will the real Man of Steel please stand up?
