Baltimore's #1 rock station 98Rock (97.9 Baltimore) has been a staple of my commute for several years especially host Amelia Ryerse. I listened in mid 00's when she was with co-host Mickey Cucchiella to current show from 10am - 3pm. As a former musician I enjoy all genres of music even moreso stations that play them with entertaining hosts. Often we go about our daily routine hearing these personalities with no idea of what they are like. Biker, comic book geek, activist and all around 'kick ass' Amelia's the real deal. She actively engage her fans on Facebook and Twitter and I recently contacted her for an interview. G4R: What's the longest road trip you have taken on your bike? Amelia: 3000 miles from Las Vegas back to Baltimore with all the National and not so national monuments in between. I would love to erase Kansas but if its not hard its not worth doing. G4R: Who was your most unusual radio guest? Amelia: Hmmm thats a tough one Unusual gross is Will the Farter. Unusual local people are Scott Donahoo and Kim from Kim's Krypt. G4R: As a fellow comic book geek who's your fave character/ hero? Amelia: My favorite character is Lobo. Outrageous artwork from Simon Bisley and in your face action from one of the craziest characters I have ever seen. Elektra is second and Saga is my new favorite book these days. I love so many books mostly from the 90's and would love some new suggestions. [Ed note: I will be sure to let our fans know] G4R: What's your fave band/ song? Amelia: Clutch/Promoter (of earthbound causes) or Wake of the Swollen Goat. G4R: Prediction on our beloved Ravens this season? Amelia: The Ravens will make the playoffs, but the injuries... There you have it people straight from the queen of morning radio and G4R home of the 5 question interview. 98Rock and Amelia from 10am-3pm is now our official morning/afternoon station! Tune in to follow her at 98Rock, Facebook and Twitter. G4R Music
