Before RoboCop or Cyborg there was the original half man/ half machine... Steve Austin aka The Six Million Dollar Man. Dubbed the Bionic Man and deemed the ultimate kick ass action figure by me and my brother we had many fun filled adventures with this toy. We would watch the weekly TV show and even bought the bubble gum trading cards. You know the cards... 5 or 6 in a pack and a stick of gum so hard it would crumble when you bite it. They even made a spin off series The Bionic Woman but it wasn't as good as the original. Most memorable episode was the one where he fought Big Foot. Ah the 70's... we were kids, played hard and life was good.

If you were around the turn of the century a few decades ago you may remember some of the classic fast food iconic containers, most notably McDonald's Big Mac styrofoam box. How about their crazy idea of the McD.L.T. box which was supposed to keep the meat warm and lettuce, tomato cool until ready to eat? Yeah that went over like a ton of bricks. Ahh the golden era of the 80's and 90's before everything went 'green' and trans fat(less) was a glorious time indeed. Those days are long gone and we will never know the feel of opening a non biodegradable container to chow down again. Well maybe not... I think Chinese carry out still uses them. Bon appetite!
